Recommendations from people, not algorithms.

The daily brief designed to pull you out of your rut. Sourced from the human web, not a black box.

The Thesis

AI should amplify human curation, not replace it.

Most recommendation engines flatten taste. They push you toward the popular, the safe, and the already-liked. They optimize for retention, not discovery.

Droves does the opposite. We mine the genres you actually love, then scour the open web (editorial roundups, community threads, and critic forums) for what real people are surfacing. The AI is kept on a short leash: it only writes search queries then formats what comes back into an easily digestible daily blurb. Every recommendation traces back to a real human on the web. Never a hallucination.

The Process

How it works

01. Input

It learns your taste from your listening history (think Last.fm, Steam, or Letterboxd).

02. Rotation

Every day it picks a different corner of your taste so you aren't fed the same five things forever.

03. Search

It searches the human web for what people are actually recommending in those specific niches.

04. Novelty

Anything it has already sent you is filtered out. Every brief is genuinely new.

05. Verification

Every item is verified against real-world data. No hallucinated albums here.

06. Delivery

A short, sharp brief dropped in your Discord fresh every morning with a link to read the full thing.

The Horizon

Expanding the scope

Beyond Music

Games, books, movies, tv shows. The signal remains human; the variety expands.

"Music for your next hang."

Group briefs are coming. Curation for a crowd, not just an individual.
